About Dopami

Dopami is a household chore management app for iOS and Android. It is built for people who know what needs to be done at home but struggle to start — especially ADHD adults, couples managing shared responsibilities, and families trying to build routines that hold.

Founded: April 2026  ·  Servers: EU (France)  ·  Status: Public beta

Why Dopami exists

Most productivity apps are built for work. They handle projects, sprints, deadlines, and meetings. When people try to apply them to household chores, the mismatch shows immediately: a Kanban board for "clean the bathroom" is not simpler than just cleaning the bathroom.

Chore apps designed specifically for home have their own gap. Most of them are schedule-first — they tell you which day each chore should be done according to a rotation. For households where energy, time, and attention are inconsistent (which is most households, and especially ADHD ones), a fixed schedule breaks down the first week it is not followed.

Dopami is built around a different question: given who you are right now, in this room, with this energy and this time available — what is the one household task most likely to get done? The algorithm scores every task against those factors and surfaces a single mission. No list to read, no schedule to follow, no guilt for missed days.

What Dopami is built for

  • ADHD households — where initiation, not intention, is the primary barrier. The single-mission approach removes the decision overhead that triggers executive dysfunction before a task even starts.
  • Couples and shared homes — where invisible mental load accumulates unevenly. Dopami makes household work visible through shared rooms, assigned missions, and household-level XP so everyone can see what is happening.
  • Families — where chore motivation needs to survive contact with daily life. XP, levels, and trophies provide gentle ongoing momentum without turning chores into a financial transaction.
  • Adults building routines — who want a system that adapts to reality rather than one that requires reality to adapt to the system.

How the app works

Dopami organizes your home by room. Each room contains missions — specific household tasks with estimated time, energy level, and an urgency indicator. When you open the app, the algorithm combines your current room, selected energy level, available time, and the shared household context to surface the one mission most likely to be completed right now.

Completing missions earns XP. XP unlocks levels and trophies. Progress is visible both individually and at the household level, so the people you live with can see what has been done and what is still waiting — without anyone having to ask.

The beta is currently free. All features are available to beta participants, including household sharing for up to six members. The app is available on iOS and Android, with data stored on EU servers under French jurisdiction.
